ART FAIR

20th October

The TARNANTHI Art Fair presents the work of over 40 art centres from across Australia. The Art Fair provides an opportunity for art lovers and collectors to meet and buy works of art direct from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists.

The Art Fair brings together city-based, regional, emerging and established artists from across the nation exclusively to Adelaide. This year it welcomes ten new participant art centres, including Bábbarra Designs and Maningrida Arts and Culture, which both represent the community of TARNANTHI’s feature artist, master bark painter John Mawurndjul.

Art production is a key source of income for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

Works of art are available for sale at various price points.

The TARNANTHI Art Fair is presented at Tandanya National Aboriginal Cultural Institute, in partnership with Tandanya and supported by the City of Adelaide. TARNANTHI is presented in partnership with BHP and with support of the Government of South Australia.
