SALA Exhibition

I am a young Aboriginal male from a small community known as Narrunga (Point Pearce) which is located in York Peninsula the foot of South Australia.

 

I’m a recent high school graduate who is currently working as a Trainee at Tandanya National Aboriginal Cultural Institute, which has inspired me to get back into art.  I was fortunate enough to be given the opportunity to have my own exhibition at Tandanya, which I wanted to show people where my mum’s side of the family are from and the totems that represent us as a tribe.  Those totems being the Shark, Eagle, Emu, Kangaroo.
