Exhibitions

Tandanya’s visual arts exhibitions capture the diversity of cultural expression by Indigenous peoples from all over Australia. The exhibition program features historical, contemporary, and experimental practices by established and emerging artists.

Tandanya accepts exhibition proposals from individual artists and collectives, touring exhibitions, as well as curated exhibitions. Exhibitions that are curated by Aboriginal &/or Torres Strait Islander people are encouraged, thus creating opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to explore and present ideas from their own cultural knowledge position.

Tandanya currently presents six exhibition periods per year, often with multiple exhibitions occurring during the same period.
