Survival Day 2015
The 26th of January is Survival Day, an important date as we gather together to not only celebrate and commemorate the history of our people but to also acknowledge and strengthen the present and future of our culture.
Survival Day is an event that offers entertainment, presentations, information, workshops and much more to ensure that the community is strengthened and empowered with all that we come together and stand for.
Hosted by National Aboriginal Cultural Institute Inc. Tandanya and Kura Yerlo Inc with support from Port Adelaide / Enfield Council; Survival Day will again be held at Semaphore Foreshore for 2015.
Performers and guests tell Tandanya what ‘Survival Day‘ means to them. Special thanks to David Salomon and Alexis West for capturing the spirit of the day.
