Manager Arts and Culture Programs
Tandanya National Aboriginal Cultural Institute, Australia’s oldest and Aboriginal owned and managed multi-arts centre is seeking an experienced Manager for its Cultural and Arts programs.
Reporting directly to the CEO you will be responsible for raising the profile of Tandanya, positioning it as an exciting major Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Arts & Cultural ‘must’ see destination. Managing a team of highly experienced and passionate professionals, you will engage with sponsors, partners, friends, artists and the general public. You will be experienced in the management of major events with the ability to deliver outcomes in a timely manner and within set budgets.
Your cultural competence will be of the highest standard as you will manage, assist and develop event and exhibition programs in consultation with local and international Aboriginal community and cultural groups.
You will have the cultural and creative skills and ability to constructively assist Tandanya in further developing its ongoing future, with an emphasis on Tandanya becoming self-sustaining.
