Artist Expression of Interest

Tandanya’s 20 anniversary celebrations includes an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Arts Fair on 24^th October 2009 in Rymill Park extension.

The Arts Fair provides an opportunity for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists to showcase and sell their work. Artists who are working out of community managed art centres and organisations or working independently are encouraged to register.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists are invited to register their interest in exhibiting work in the Arts Fair.

There are no registration fees or other associated costs to the artist.

** Tandanya will not take commission from artwork sales **

Tandanya will provide:             

·    Marketing and promotion of event
·    Display panels and/or trestle space
·    Refreshments & bbq
·    Shade, seating etc
·    Staff assistance
·    Amenities

Artists (or their representative) will be required to:

·   Deliver their own work
·   Participate in the hanging / displaying of their work
·   Represent themselves to the public
·   Manage their own sales - cash sales only as no eftpos facilities available

Registration of Interest is Essential
