Billy Missi - Urapun Kai Buai

This exhibition of beautiful, detailed, contemporary linocut prints, focuses on family and cultural protocols and the artist's contemporary life experiences growing up in Zenadh-Kes (the Torres Strait)  Along with kinship, inspiration for the series of images in Urapun Kai Buai, is based on the natural environment and what the artis describes as 'pure nature' reflecting the traditional ways of survival, including everyday stories and knowledge.  Prints and merchandise associated with the exhibition are for sale.
